The Plymouth Park Board conducted their first meeting of the new year and reorganized the board.

The election of officers retained Dave Morrow as President and Mike Kershner as Vice President while Cayla Wade was newly elected Secretary for the board.

Park Superintendent Mike Hite told park board members his crew was busy in December with the Christmas lights at River Park Square and in Centennial Park.  He said the only vandalism they had was kids unplugging a few of the lights occasionally.  Hite said they are in the process of taking down the lights and decoration but hoping the weather warms up a little to complete the job.

Superintendent Hite said he hasn’t received any public comments on the draft of the 5-year plan that is available in the Plymouth Public Library, City Office, and Centennial Park Office.  He said the draft is also on social media.  Hite will bring the updated 5-year plan to the February 7th meeting for approval.  The deadline to submit is April 15th.
