The Caring Coalition of Marshall County is not-for-profit organization working to make the community more aware of suicide and mental health and how they can help people make a better choice.

Pam Mahler Lee, Executive Director said, “Due to covid, our organization slowed down in being in the public eye.  But, in 2021 we did a lot of Living Works training behind the scenes and have educated over 60 people in the Marshall County area.   Now our desire is to rejuvenate the organization and get the community involved in making a difference in helping others.”

Chip Dean, President of Caring Coalition of Marshall County said they will host a “call out” meeting on Thursday, January 13 at 101 South Michigan Street, the Integrity Academy at 7:30 p.m.  He said they are looking for people from across the county that are interested in suicide prevention and awareness along with mental health since they tend to go hand-in-hand.  They are looking for new ideas for the organization and fundraising efforts along with training.
