Valerie J. Hite, age 79 of Culver, IN passed away on December 25, 2021 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Plymouth, IN.
Valerie was born to Robert Christy and Evia Mae (Linnabary) Johnston on June 21, 1942 in Michigan City, IN. She graduated from Chesterton High School, then received her BA in Physical Education from Indiana State University. She married David H. Hite on August 7, 1965, and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2010. She was a member of Pretty Lake United Methodist Church. She worked as a Probation Officer of Marshall County. She enjoyed horses in her earlier years, and in her later years she liked watching Westerns on TV and Fox News.
Valerie is survived by her son, David Robert Hite; her sister, Vivian Hendricks of North Judson, IN; her grandchildren: Aurora Hite and David Dale Hite; and her great-grandchild, Everett.
Valerie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evia; and her husband, David.
No services are planned currently, however a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
