On Tuesday December 28, officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force and Plymouth Police located and arrested 24-year-old Kody Whiteman of Plymouth in the 700-block of North Plum Street in Plymouth. Mr. Whiteman was wanted for several outstanding warrants.
During the investigation officers located marijuana and a loaded handgun in the vehicle Mr. Whiteman was operating. He was subsequently lodged at the Marshall County Jail with new charges of Driving while suspended-prior, Possession of Marijuana and Carrying a handgun without a license Level 5 Felony and given a $5,000 cash bond.
A passenger in the vehicle, 26-year-old Steven Bishop also of Plymouth was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Marijuana. He was held on a $250 cash bond.
