Commissioners Conduct Year End Meeting Friday at 8:30 a.m.

The Marshall County Commissioners will conduct their year-end meeting on Friday, December 31^st at 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.

Agenda for the meeting lists the County Auditor’s report, approval of minutes, final claims for 2021 and a decision on the auditor’s request to add additional tools to the Beacon GIS website with Schneider. 

At their December 20^th meeting Auditor Fox requested permission to enhance the website to include a tax estimator, sales search and information on where your property tax dollars are distributed.  The annual cost to host the additional tools is $1,320 while there is a one-time set up fee of $2,160 and annual support of $2,100.  The commissioners wanted to speak with a couple of other department heads to get their input on the additional tools before making a decision.
