The National Weather Service has issued slick-road travel conditions for Marshall County until 6 PM.

We are experiencing brief periods of wet, heavy snow that will cause roads to become slick this afternoon. The Weather Service says we could see accumulation of 1 to 3 inches, especially north of U.S. 30.  Anyone travelling this afternoon should leave extra

time to reach your destination and remember to take it slow on ice and snow.

Accidents have been reported across the area.

The snow will diminish from west to east between 4 and

6 PM.
