On Wednesday, December 22nd at approximately 5:45 in the evening, Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on US 30 west of US 31. The driver 32-year-old Taiwo A. Sulaiman of Indianapolis was arrested for false informing and providing a false identity statement.

Mr. Sulaiman was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $500 cash bond.  He was released about 9 P.M. and given an initial hearing in Marshall Superior Court II on January 25th

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
