Last week, Mayor Pro-Tem, Don Ecker from the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety asked City Attorney Sean Surrisi to open the Requests for Proposal for Greenway Trail Project, phase III in River Park Square.

There were five companies that submitted proposals: DB Engineering, Troyer Group, United Consulting, USI Consultants and VS Engineering Inc.

Surrisi said, “This is an INDOT funded project through the Stellar Communities Program.”

The RFP will be shared with the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission and Plymouth Park Board and the Mayor.  A committee will be selected to review the RFP’s and report back to the Board of Public Works at a future meeting.

Surrisi clarified that the RFP’s are for preliminary engineering for the Greenway Trail.
