On Tuesday morning December 14th, at approximately 12:56 am, Officer Hollopeter with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop for a speeding vehicle on U.S. 31 near 12th Road.

Through an investigation it was learned that the driver, 22-year-old Ivin Juarez of Goshen was wanted out of Allen County.

Juarez was also found to be Operating While Intoxicated, a C-Misdemeanor.  He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated and held on a $1,500 cash bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
