The Bourbon Police Department is home to a new Medication Disposal Drop Box thanks to CVS Pharmacy and the Partnership for Drug Free Kids.
“These drop boxes allow residents of Bourbon and surrounding communities to safely deposit unwanted or expired medications all the while protecting the environment and keeping potentially dangerous medications out of the wrong hands,” said Bourbon Police Chief Bill Martin.
“I have wanted a medication drop box for some time in Bourbon as a way to help our citizens safely dispose of their unwanted medications. When the opportunity arose from CVS and the Partnership for Drug Free Kids, I was more than happy to accept that offer,” said Chief Martin.
The box was provided to the Town of Bourbon at no cost. The medication disposal box is located in the Bourbon Police Department.
