This week the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals considered the application of Plymouth Center Limited Partnership of Chase Properties to create two lots.  The request is to split off the Tractor Supply into its own lot and the grassy area between the parking lots of TSC and Lowes that is 1.36 acres into the second lot.

A variance of development standard is needed for the TSC split because there would be a zero side-yard setback from the former J. C. Penney building.  It would also need a variance because the maximum lot coverage is 70% but the TSC property is currently at 92%.

These two variances are needed before this request can be considered by the Plymouth Plan Commission.

The variances were granted by a 4 to 1 vote with Mark Gidley voting against the request.
