Faith Freed, Administrator for the Marshall County Health Department released numbers from the Indiana Department of Health’s Strike Team visit to the county December 1st through the 4th.
The Strike Team administered a total of 661 vaccinations during their four-day visit. They gave 485 adult Pfizer vaccines and 84 pediatric Pfizer vaccines. The team also administered 67 Moderna vaccines and 25 J&J vaccines.
COVID-19 testing during the four-day was almost overwhelming at times. During their visit to the county, they conducted a total of 943 COVID test with 50 being the PCR tests and 893 were the rapid tests. The positivity rate of all tests given in Marshall County at the event was 27%.
