A Plymouth man was arrested by Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department Saturday December 4th for Operating While Intoxicated. 

About 10:30 Sunday night Officer Arnold conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of US 30 and Pioneer Drive.  The driver of the vehicle, 54-year-old Bart Lacher was arrested for OWI endangerment and incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond and given a December 28th initial hearing in Marshall Superior Court II.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
