In a release from State Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) he encouraged citizens to Shop Local by saying, “On Saturday, November 27, let’s come together to support local businesses and shop small.”

Jordan encouraged shoppers saying, “Our community is home to hardworking entrepreneurs offering a number of unique goods and services. Whether enjoying a meal out at a locally owned restaurant or purchasing homemade desserts for holiday get-togethers, we can all do our part to support small businesses this year and beyond.”

He continued, “Our local chamber of commerce is a great place to learn more about area businesses, as well as Visit Indiana and Indiana Grown.”

Shopping local benefits more than just the store. When you shop small, money is reinvested back into our community. Small businesses create jobs, donate to local nonprofits and contribute to our quality of life.

Closing out his comments rep. Jordan said, “On Saturday, Nov. 27 and beyond, let’s come together to support local businesses and shop small.”
