Oak Park, IL Man Arrested by City Police for Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia

On Monday, November 22^nd about 8:30 in the evening, a vehicle driven by Simon B. Petrick of Oak Park, IL was stopped for speeding on US 30 by Plymouth Police Officer Krynock.

During the stop, Petrick was found to be in possession of Marijuana and paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $250 cash bond and given a December 28^th initial hearing in Marshall Superior Court II. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
