Plymouth Police Officer Arnold arrested an Akron man Sunday night, November 7th just after 9.  He was responding to the report of a stolen vehicle on Michigan Road.

Officer Arnold located the vehicle in the parking lot at Kroger’s on North Michigan Street. The driver, 20-year-old Alfredo Onfre of Akron was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Marijuana, and Operating while Never Licensed.

Onfre was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond and given a December 21st initial hearing in Marshall Superior Court III. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
