Work should begin yet this fall on the 40-unit workforce housing development being built at the corner of Richter Road and Baker Street in Plymouth. This development is part of a larger project that will consist of 48 total units in Plymouth and LaPaz.

Riverside Commons is a collaboration between developer Kevin Berger, the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA), the City of Plymouth and Marshall County Crossroads.

The 40 units located within walking distance of the intermediate and high school in Plymouth, will consist of 36 townhouses and four flats. 28 of these units will be three bedroom and 12 will be two-bedroom units and should be available in the Spring of 2023.

“We were pleased to have the opportunity to work with Marshall County Crossroads on this project,” stated Berger, principal owner of Easterday Construction of Culver. “The competition for IHCDA tax credits is fierce and we would have been unlikely to have achieved this without the set-aside garnered by Marshall County’s Stellar designation.”

The groundbreaking for the additional 8 units in LaPaz will be in the Spring of 2022.
