The Goodwill Center for Career Connections in Plymouth is here to help citizens with their job searches, digital skills and much more. The Career Connections staff can help you build your skills to become employer ready with their workshops, assistance with resume writing, job placement with their hiring events, obtain your high school equivalency, or help transition into a new career. They are here to give you a hand up.

The Goodwill Center for Career Connections in Plymouth is thrilled to welcome clients! The following guidelines have been set in place for everyone’s safety:

  • Follow CDC guidelines and do not enter if you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, nausea, or a sore throat
  • Masks are strongly recommended for guests who are working closer than 6 feet with anyone else
  • Masks are required for those who have not been vaccinated
  • Increased cleaning and sanitation processes are in place

The Goodwill Career Center will offer Dressing for Success: A Professional Dress and Etiquette Workshop in Plymouth on Thursday, November 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Your first impression speaks volumes to perspective employers when interviewing or starting a new position. This is one area where you are completely in control of how others judge you. It is not fair that you will be judged on your appearance, but it is a fact. In this workshop the Career Center Manager will give you advice that you can use on your next interview.

The Goodwill Career Center will also offer a Digital Skills 101 Workshop on Tuesday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 23rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Do you want to begin or strengthen your computer skills? This Digital Skills Workshops offers a variety of classroom instruction from basic computer skills to Microsoft Excel and Google Docs. You will be able to utilize Northstar Assessments to track your progress and improve your computer skills. Training certificates are provided to celebrate your achievements.

All Center for Career Connections Events are free and open to the public.

They sessions are offered at the Larry Neff Center for Career Connections         adjacent to the Goodwill Retail Store at 1547 Pilgrim Lane in Plymouth.
