It is with great sadness that Abby Collins, Recreation Director for the Plymouth Park Department announced Tuesday morning the cancellation of the Plymouth Park Department’s 2021 Haunted Grounds.
As you can see from the attached pictures, the Greenway Trail that was to be used for the tram route is completely flooded and there is more rain in the forecast. Collins said, “A good alternate location cannot be found on such short notice that would accommodate the type of decorations and scary scenes that we had planned for the Greenway Trail location.”
In lieu of this, the Plymouth Park Department will be handing out candy, hot chocolate, and popcorn at the Trunk or Treat event at River Park Square on Saturday, October 30th from 3 to 5 p.m.
Collins said, “Thank you for understanding and we will see you at the Trunk or Treat event!”
