Just before noon on Thursday, October 21st officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 2535 North Michigan Street, the Economy Inn for a report of a male who was intoxicated and wanting to fight several subjects.

Officers arrived and discovered that 46-year-old Peter Deegan with a Tower Minnesota address was intoxicated and being aggressive towards Police Officers and others staying at the hotel.

Mr. Deegan was given several chances to calm down and stay in his hotel room. Peter failed to comply and was later taken to jail and booked in on a charge of public intoxication.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
