On Thursday, October 7th, 2021, at approximately 11:34 PM, Marshall County Police were sent to the 300 block of Miami Trail for a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located a 1967 Chevrolet that had run off the roadway. The driver, Lucas M. Heyde, was found to be under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol results showing to be over two times the legal limit. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and processed for operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering.
