Beverly Jane (Weatherholt) Price, 79, a long-time resident of Plymouth, Indiana, jumped into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 5, 2021, after a brief illness in the hospital. Beverly and her husband, Donald, had just moved to Middleburg, Florida a month prior to enjoy life in the south around family. Beverly’s greatest love was her lifelong relationship with Jesus and sharing that joy with others through serving, prayer groups, and reaching out via cards, letters, and phone calls. She and Don had recently started attending a new church in Florida. She was a true American Patriot who loved her country fiercely and prayed for its return to the Christian values of its founding.
Born on February 19. 1942 in Hartford City, Indiana, Beverly Jane Weatherholt grew up in Montpelier, Indiana. She was raised in a musical family where she sang and played the piano, and was a cheerleader in high school. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1960 and went on to Ball State University to get her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Home Economics Education in 1964. Beverly taught home economics in both South Bend and Goshen, Indiana for five years.

On March 30, 1969 she married the love of her life, Donald Ray Price, and moved to Plymouth to live most of her life there. After their wedding, she and Don owned and managed Price’s Village Valet Cleaners for many years in Plymouth.  She was very active in the church and was known for leading prayer groups for our country and the church, and sending out cards of encouragement to so many.

Beverly and Don were married for 52 wonderful years. They raised three children: Angela Price Michalak of Waxhaw, NC (Doug), Diane Price Harding of Mableton, GA (Doug), and Christina Price Granger of Middleburg, FL (James). She also has seven grandchildren: Ashley, Daniel, Lindsay, Joshua, Taylor, McKenna and Kayla.

Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend whose presence and love were cherished and will be missed immensely. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Delight and Dewayne Weatherholt, stepmother Lorada Weatherholt, grandparents, Ralph and Mable Weatherholt, and Ima and Verna Garrett.  She is survived by her siblings, Gary Weatherholt, Linda Coleman (Dean), and Cheryl Barnes (Mike), along with her husband Don, her children, her grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, and many other extended family members.

In celebration of Beverly’s life, there will be a graveside service at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana on October 2, 2021, at 1 pm followed by a reception with light refreshments.

Beverly’s legacy and desire is the urgency for all to share the love of Jesus Christ and the salvation that all can receive through Him. Her family has been so blessed by her conviction, strong faith, and love for her family, friends, and country and will strive to continue her mission. Donations can be made to a church or charity sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Beverly also loved the ministries of The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Leading the Way Ministries with Dr. Michael Youssef.
