The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call on Wednesday, September 22, about 1:00 P.M about an accident that occurred on US 6 at Dogwood Road.
Bremen Fire, EMS Police and Marshall County Deputies responded to the call.
A 2016 F-150 driven by Martin Booher of Orland, IN was approaching the intersection at US 6 and Dogwood when a 2014 Freightliner driven by Jon Howard, 25, of South Bend started through the intersection. The vehicles collided causing the freightliner to face west in traffic and causing the F-150 to go off the road and into a ditch.
Martin Booher,45, was transported to a hospital in Bremen where he was air lifted to another hospital. The driver of the 2014 Freightliner had bruising but refused medical treatment at the scene.
The intersection was temporarily shut down so deputies could perform a crash scene reconstruction.
