On Saturday, September 18th at approximately 3:15 in the afternoon Marshall County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Michigan Road and 5th Road in reference to a two-vehicle accident.
During the investigation it was determined that Terry Dipert of Walkerton was operating a 1985 Chevy pickup truck northbound on Michigan Road when he rear-ended a 2016 Dodge Ram.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, Michael Patrick, was stopped attempting a left turn into a residence when his vehicle was rear-ended.
Terry Dipert was transported to the hospital for his injuries while Michael Patrick was treated at the scene.
Marshall County Deputies were assisted at the scene by LaPaz EMS and Fire.
