The Marshall County Drainage Board and County Commissioners will meet Monday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. 

The Drainage Board will consider a variance request from Norfalk Properties on the Rightly Ditch. They also have a request for a proposed outlet for the Myers Tile Arm #7 in the Deerfield Meadows Subdivision. 

County Surveyor Craig Cultice will present updates on projects and miscellaneous business.

The Commissioner’s meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.  Their agenda included a report from Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, a zoning map amendment for the Abbotts and a request of Jay, Linda, Scott and Shelley Buchtel presented by County Plan Director Ty Adley.     

Tippecanoe Township Trustee Matt Pitney will discuss a sidewalk at the fire station in Tippecanoe and the Marshall County Park and Rec. Board will discuss the historic trustee cabin project in West Township. 

Robert Demis who lives on 8th Road in West Township is on the Commissioners agenda to discuss the shipping container violation on his property.  The County Board of Zoning Appeals has been working with him since last 2019.

The commissioners will also hear from the County Attorney Jim Clevenger, County Auditor Julie Fox and any public comments.
