Herschil E. Hannah, age 68 of Bourbon, IN passed away unexpectedly in his home on September 10, 2021 at 1:11 a.m.

Herschil was born the son of Herschil D. and Ruth (Harris) Hannah on April 27, 1953. He is a longtime resident of the area and a former Bourbon Volunteer Fireman. He attended Plymouth High School and worked as a dairy farmer, and a sales associate at ACE Hardware of Bremen, and at Dave and Ray’s Grocery. Herschil married Linda Clark on August 5, 1972 and they shared 49 years together raising their family. He enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.

Herschil will be remembered by his wife, Linda Hannah of Bourbon, IN; his son, Travis (Christin) Hannah of Bourbon, IN; his grandchildren, Brycen and Bryley; his sisters: Mary Reichert of Bourbon, IN; and Karen Lichtenbarger of LaPaz, IN and step-brother Ken (Penny) Kennedy of Plymouth.

Herschil is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Joann Hurford; and Fern Bradley; and his brother, Larry Hannah.

Memorial visitation services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St. Plymouth, IN 46563). Memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
