The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

Board of Public Works members will hear from various department heads including the City Engineer who will present a request to work in the right-of-way at 500 West Monroe and discuss the LPA Construction Inspection/Engineering Contract for the Historic Footbridge.

Under requests, Brent Martin will seek reserved parking spaces and the Latino Fest will also have a request for the Board of Public Works and Safety to consider. 

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30. Their agenda includes 2nd and 3rd reading of the ordinance setting salaries of elected officials for 2022.  The proposal is a 7.5% increase for the mayor, 4.5% increase for the Clerk/Treasurer and a 3% increase for council members. 

The agenda also lists a discussion of the Veterans Parkway and a memorandum of understanding between the City of Plymouth and Construction Management Design.

The Clerk/Treasurer Jeanine Xaver will review the 2022 budget and the city council will consider an ordinance vacating an alley within the Menominee Heights Subdivision. 

Other agenda items are a resolution authorizing the investment of public funds and a resolution to approve an investment policy.

The city meetings are open to the public although comment and questions are limited to agenda items only.

Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second-floor council chambers for the meetings.
