This year there are new faces with the Shop With A Cop radio auction. Committee members will be sending a letter to local businesses ahead of picking up auction items. The letter mentions the types of items they would like to collect for the auction.
The committee, Shiloh Milner, Jessica Cotton, Laurie Lemler and Billie Walbert will be visiting business across the county to collect items beginning Tuesday, September 14th. The Shop With A Cop committee would like to have all items collected by October 31st so they can get them all photographed, cataloged and put in the auction blocks. Committee member Shiloh Milner said, “This is quite the process!”
Funds raised by the Shop With A Cop radio auction allows Plymouth FOP 195 the chance to take children from Marshall County shopping prior to Christmas. The program also donates gift cards for food to seniors through Real Services and provides clothing and needed items to about a dozen clients of Marshall Starke Development Center who have no family support.
This year’s radio auction will be held on Friday, December 3rd on WTCA AM 1050 & FM 106.1
Plymouth FOP 195 would like to thank all who have donated in the past and all that continue to donate for the auction allowing them to have a successful auction year after year!
