On Wednesday, September 1, the Bourbon Police Department was participating in Operation Pull Over. Officer Truty with the Bourbon Police Department made a traffic stop for an equipment violation on U.S. 30 near State Road 19 about 9 p.m.
JABARI EE TERRELL JACKSON JR was operating the vehicle without fully functional headlamps. Mr. Jackson was also operating the vehicle on a suspended license.
During the traffic stop, a handgun was found in Jackson’s possession. Mr. Jackson did not have a permit for the firearm. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of a Handgun without a license.
