The Marshall County Dispatch Center received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Friday, August 27th about 7:30 in the evening. Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop at the Family Express on West Jefferson Street.

Amber Rosander, 28, of Plymouth was found to be driving on a license with a status of Habitual Traffic Violator.  Rosander was also found to be under the influence of alcohol and was transported to the St. Joseph ER for a chemical test.

During the traffic stop, Rosander resisted arrest but was taken into custody without injury or incident.

Amber Rosander was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Operating While Intoxicated, Habitual Traffic Violator, and Resisting Law Enforcement and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
