CSX Railroad will be closing their crossing on State Road 23 between Tyler Road and Tyler Street in Walkerton beginning Monday, August 30.
This closure is to rebuild the at grade crossing on State Road 23. The road is expected to reopen the evening of Wednesday, September 8, weather permitting.
Motorists should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 4, State Road 104 and U.S. 6.
