Officer Stamper with the Plymouth Police Department arrested a Plymouth man early Sunday morning after being dispatched to 705 Oakhill Avenue. 

Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with the victim and alleged perpetrator. An investigation was completed, and the 34-year-old Jorge Barrios Meda of the Oakhill address was arrested for Domestic Battery and Strangulation. He was incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond.  He was released on Monday morning at 2:15 after posting bond.  He will appear in Marshall Superior Court III on September 21st
