On Wednesday, August 18th at approximately 6:00 p.m. a Marshall County Sheriff Department Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area of Linden Road and 7th Road in Plymouth.

During the traffic stop, K9 Diesel was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.  Conducting a search of the vehicle, officers located suspected methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia.

The driver was identified as Buddie Krager, 42, of Elkhart.  He was found to be operating the vehicle without ever receiving a license with a prior conviction. Buddie Kerager and a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Rhonda Rose, 24, of Elkhart, were transported to the Marshall County Jail.

While at the jail, additional suspected methamphetamine was located on Rhonda Rose`s person.

Buddie Krager was booked for Possession of Methamphetamine more than 5 grams but less than 10 grams, Operating a vehicle Without ever receiving a License with a prior conviction, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Rhonda Rose was booked for Methamphetamine more than 5 grams but less than 10 grams, Legend Drug deception, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

They were both held on $1,500 cash bonds and given September 20 and 21 court dates in Marshall Superior Court III.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
