The birth parents of the missing 11-month-old baby girl from Plymouth were arrested Monday night.
32-year-old Tiffany Jo Coburn of Grovertown was arrested Monday evening and lodged in the Marshall County Jail at 5:25. Coburn is being held on a $1,500 cash bond for Neglect of a Dependent.
41-year-old Kenneth Robert Lain of North Michigan Street in Plymouth was arrested and lodged in the County Jail just before 9 p.m. on Monday. He too is being held on a $1,500 cash bond for Neglect of a Dependent.
The whereabouts of 11-month-old Mercedes Lain is still a mystery. A statewide Silver Alert was posted late Sunday night for Mercedes who was last seen on Thursday, August 12 with Justin Lee Miller. Miller was arrested Monday morning and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Neglect of a Dependent and held on a $1,500 cash bond. The baby was not with him when he and his vehicle were located in Starke County.
The FBI Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team has joined the investigation. Lain is 2 feet tall, weights 19 pounds and has blonde hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be in extreme danger and might need medical assistance.
