37-year-old Justin Lee Miller of North Starke Street in Hamlet was arrested Monday morning at 5:55 and lodged in the Marshall County Jail of a charge of Neglect of a Dependent and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
The Plymouth Police Department is actively investigating the disappearance of Mercedes Lain, an 11-month-old white female, 2 feet tall, 19 pounds, blonde hair with brown eyes. Mercedes last seen on Thursday, August 12th about 9 p.m. in with Justin Lee Miller who was driving a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Mercedes is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon said FBI and its Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team is assisting in this ongoing investigation.
