The Marshall County Council meets Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.  After their regular monthly meeting the council will have first reading of the 2022 Budget Hearings.  The meetings are open to the public.

During the regular monthly meeting the County Council will hear the request of Faith Chapman, Administrator of the County Health Department seek approval to apply for the PHEP (Public Health Emergency Preparedness) Grant.  Jason Peters from the County Highway Department has a personnel request and County Sheriff Matt Hassel will present the Commissary Fund Report. 

The Council will consider additional appropriation and transfer requests during the meeting along with approving the 2022 meeting schedule, make a liaison appointment to Superior Court III and consider the Bremen Public Library declaration of a fiscal body. 

Following the regular meeting the County Council will review each budget with the various department heads.  This is 77 different budgets.  This portion of the meeting will take most of the day.
