Argos Man Arrested by City Police for Driving While Suspended with a Prior and Porter County Warrant

On Monday, July 26^th just after 4 p.m., a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Nathan Lee Norris Jr. of Argos was stopped for a traffic infraction at Oak and 7B Roads.

Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department found Norris to be operating on a suspended license with a prior charge and he also had an active warrant for his arrest through Porter County.

Nathan Norris Jr was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail for Driving While Suspended with a Prior and held on a $500 cash bond.  He was given an August 24^th initial hearing in Marshall Superior Court II. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
