MugShot_william freck 4-12-21Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive on Monday, April 12th about 10 P.M.  The vehicle was driven by 32-year-old William D. Freck of LaPorte.

After a brief investigation, Freck was arrested for Possession Meth, Possession Marijuana and Possession Paraphernalia and transported to the Marshall County Jail.  His cash bond was set at $1,500 and paid about 11:45 that evening.  He was released with a June 1st court date in Marshall Superior Court II.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
