corona virus updateThe Indiana Department of Health announced Tuesday that 669 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 692,240 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard & Map shows Marshall County reporting 2 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5652 since March 2020 with 14 new individuals being tested. Since Monday no new Covid-19 related deaths have been reported as we continue to hold at 108. The 7-Day Positivity for All tests scored 6.4% with the 7-Day Positivity for Unique Individual scoring 12.9%.

To date, 12,679 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 11 from the previous day. Another 405 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

A total of 3,281,732 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,279,662 on Monday. A total of 9,053,119 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
