County BuildingThe Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 Monday morning in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building for their regular meeting.  Agenda for the meeting includes Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and a quarterly report from Veterans Service Officer, Pam Schweizer-Betz.

County Plan Director Ty Adley will present the Annual Report for the County Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals while Shannon McLeod from Priority Projects will ask the commissioners to conduct two Public Hearing, one for the Covid-19 grant and the second for the Housing Program.

Marcos Drummond has asked to be on the commissioner’s agenda to discuss the 2nd Amendment Preservation Resolution and Don Nunemaker will be back to seek the commissioner’s approval to declare Marshall County as a Constitutional Rights Sanctuary County.

Director of the Marshall County Museum, Linda Rippy will present her quarterly report and Attorney Report James Clevenger will give his report along with the County Auditor’s Report by Julie Fox.

Under Commissioner Items on the agenda for the meeting are Resolution 2021-06 Second Amendment Preservation, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and the discussion to demolish the structure at 211 W. Jefferson Street.  The Marshall County Commissioners also offer the public an opportunity to ask questions or make comments during the Public Comment portion of the meeting.

The Marshall County Commissioners meeting is open to the public although masks are required and social distancing.
