corona virus updateThe Indiana Department of Health announced Friday that 1,256 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 688,916 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard and Map shows Marshall County reporting 9 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5637 with 34 new individuals being tested. Since Thursday 1 additional Covid-19 related death was reported bringing the total to 108. The 7- Day Positivity for All Tests scored 4.9% with the 7—Day Positivity for the Unique Individuals scoring 12.8%.

To date, 12,662 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 20 from the previous day. Another 407 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

A total of 3,267,629 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,262,518 on Thursday. A total of 8,975,412 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
