Sycamore_FloodMarshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters is warning of possible flooding.  In a release Wednesday evening Peters said “Due to warming temperatures and rapidly melting snow, some areas may experience flooding very quickly.”

Along with the flooding, Peters is warning that gravel roads will become soft.

Pooling water on the roadway is a safety hazard and it is damaging to the road itself.  If you notice flooding in an area, and water is starting to pool up please report the location to the Marshall County Highway Department or the Marshall County Sheriff Department if it’s after hours.

Due to this situation, drivers are urged to use caution, as water could be pooling or flooding an area in a very short time.
