City HallThe Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of City Hall. This meeting will also be available via zoom.

The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from department heads.  Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will discuss the Centennial Crossings Lift Station Project that Haskins Underground is working on.  He will also discuss the Digester Renovation Project by Kokosing Industrial is also on the agenda.

City Engineer Rick Gaul will present a request from Comcast to work in the right-of-way on Randolph Street for the Centennial Crossing residential project and the City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present a resolution to write-off delinquent and uncollectable water, wastewater, garbage and stormwater bills.

The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 and members will conduct two public hearings, one for River Park Phase II and the second one for additional appropriations for the aquatic center and the footbridge reconstruction project.

Members of the council will also consider the request of Roger Holston for a commercial revitalization rebate program.  He is remodeling the former 5th Street grocery into the Koontz Lake Brewing Company.

Also on the agenda is a report on Gibson’s Loss Prevention Service all and cancellation of outstanding unpaid warrants.

The city meetings are open to the public although masks and social distancing is requested.  Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second floor for the meeting in the Council Chambers.
