The Marshall County Drainage Board and Commissioners meet (Monday, this) morning in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. To attend the meetings you must temperature check at the first-floor information desk, wear a mask and social distance.
The Drainage Board will meet at 8:30 and will discuss miscellaneous business including the recording of the 2B Road Drain easement, the 2021 Ditch Maintenance Collections and a presentation of the Kankakee and Yellow River Basin Development Commission.
The Commissioners meet at 9:30 and will hear a report by Jason Peters of the County Highway Department, a contract with L&D Mail Masters contract by the Treasurer Angie Birchmeier and an update on the Superior Court III HVAC system by Doug Masterson from the Building and Grounds Department.
The Commissioners will hear a request for out-of-state travel for training by the Sheriff, a request to use Lincoln Highway east of Plymouth for the 5K Join the Journey Run for Dustin’s Place and a prepayment request by John Grolich the county Coroner.
The Commissioners will also hear from Ginny Munroe from the Troyer Group on the CARES-OCRA Micro-loan program. They will conduct a public hearing for phase II and phase III. The County Attorney, Jim Clevenger will report on the Culver intergovernmental agreement with Barnes & Thornburg and the County Auditor will present the minutes and monthly claims.
In other business the commissioners will consider a pre-payment request for SuiteOne Media and make an appointment to the Argos Plan Commission.
