City News PlymouthMonday evening the Plymouth Common Council approved the request of Clerk Treasurer Jeanine Xaver requested permission to transfer appropriations as needed for the end of the year.  She also was granted approval to transfer encumbrances as needed for the year end.

Another request the City Council approved was a transfer of $750,000 from the General Fund into the Rainy Day Fund.

The Street Department was granted permission to transfer $28,800 from Personal to Other Services and Charges to pay for repairs to the used bucket truck they purchased a few years ago.  Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt said he would rather do a transfer of funds left in this year’s budget than take such a big hit so early in the 2021 budget to make the necessary repairs.

The Council approved his request.
