On Monday, the Marshall County Commissioners signed the lease agreement between the Community Resource Center and Marshall County for space for Community Corrections. They county entered into a 5-year lease with the monthly payments being $1,619.20 for the first three years and $1,692.80 for years four and five. The lease payments begin in January and will be made using funds from Community Corrections and not property tax money.
Community Corrections is moving out of the Courthouse because the county will be getting a fourth court in July of 2021. The space they are currently using will be the courtroom and offices for the fourth court.
Community Corrections will be allowed to enter the building and begin preparing the space prior to the January 1, 2021 lease date.
