U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) Monday evening released the following statement on the confirmation and swearing-in of Amy Coney Barrett as an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court:
“I want to congratulate Justice Amy Coney Barrett, the newest member of our nation’s highest court. Justice Barrett is a woman of strong faith, a dedicated mother of seven, an exceptional jurist, and a fellow Hoosier. I have no doubt she will faithfully uphold the rule of law, defend the Constitution, and protect the life and liberty of every American.”
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
