auto_theftOn Monday, August 24th just before noon Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of West Garro Street.

Officer Wally Derifield spotted the stolen vehicle in the area of East Garro and Liberty Streets near the Lincoln Junior High.   As he attempted to stop the vehicle, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle was abandoned behind a residence on Gibson St. and the two occupants fled on foot.

Auto Theft_Jeep LJH_2The female, 26 year old Jaidlyn Larimore of Plymouth was apprehended near the Junior High.  The male subject, 23 year old Zakary Elliott of Etna Green was apprehended on South Liberty Street south of Pennsylvania Avenue riding a bike that he had stolen from Lincoln Jr. High.

Both suspects were incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail.  Jaidlyn Larimore is being held on a $1,500 cash bond for Vehicle Theft and Resisting Law Enforcement.  Zakary Elliott was also held on a $1,500 cash bond for Vehicle Theft and Resisting.  The pair will appear in Marshall Superior Court II on September 15th.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
