Drug ArrestsOn Tuesday, July 14th at approximately 5:41 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Arnold conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection US 30 and Pioneer Drive. During the course of the traffic stop Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Krynock arrived on scene and deployed K9 Castor on the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle. The front seat passenger identified as 35 year old, Nicole Risner of Plymouth was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, and Possession of Marijuana. Risner was transported to the Marshall County Jail where bond was set at $1,505.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
