The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for U.S. 6 between State Road 39 and U.S. 35 starting Monday, July 20.
Crews will be patching the road for a resurfacing project. U.S. 6 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for local traffic only. Through traffic should find an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 39, U.S. 30 and U.S. 35.
The road is expected to reopen in mid-August, 2020.
